What Jo Buffery says about her work:

The two threads that run through my professional life are the Arts and Learning. I am equally committed to the promotion of high quality learning in the arts, and the development of other skills through artistic and creative processes.

I am passionate about Arts Education and Development and have directed literally hundreds of projects in the last 20 years. These have ranged from one off Arts Days through to major Combined Arts Summer Schools staffed by artists and attended by 200 pupils, and long term region-wide projects for English National Ballet and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra which culminated in high profile public performances. It is the creativity and ambition of these projects that I bring to my current work in schools. projects

My creative, practical work is built upon solid foundations. I genuinely enjoy the processes of planning, collaboration, making connections, disseminating good practice and developing skills. It is these kinds of experience that I draw upon in the consultancy area of my current work. consultancy
